Hello from Edmonton
Hello to everyone,
I have been interested in the Dodge Cummins since they were developed by Dodge.
When my wife said I will buy the trailer, you buy the truck, it was a done deal.
I purchased a 2002 about two years ago. It was a sight unseen truck from a dealer in Fort McLeod. The only thing that did not pan out was the "fully loaded" meant the previous owner had put in a CompuStar remote and a Viper security system which I cannot get to work!
Anyway, we took the 28 foot trailer from Alberta to B.C. where we have our resort property. I could pass everything going uphill except gas stations.
Last August a herd of elk tried to run us off the road at 11:00 PM. One elk ran in front of the truck and we hit him at 80 kph. All the sheet metal from the firewall to the bumper was replaced. Fortunately, no damage was done to the engine or drivetrain. I was going to get rid of the AliArc bumper, but after this, I wouldn't be without one.
A new clutch was put in 3 months ago. I added an S&B air cleaner on the advise of some Cummins friends.
I now have time to do work on the truck, so I am looking forward to being on this site.

Welcome to the DTR!
Check out our ABDTR#5 posting in the Chapters area for stuff happening. So far we have a dyno event working for May 23rd up in E town. You could hook up with some local diesel heads and get some info for your next mods.
Again, welcome and hope to see you around!
