Great to find this forum

I have a 99 Dodge 2500. I love it. It has been giving me a problem lately-
If I am traveling highway speed and hit a bump of pot hole while slightly turning the wheel It can start a violent shake that almost takes you off the road. The first time it happened I thought i ran over a 2x4 on the highway. It did not happen for several months then bam! it did it again. I took it to a guy who fixed the steering stabilizer shock which was broken. All was not well. It did it again. This time he fixed the upper and lower control arm bushings. But it still is not right. Any suggestions?

Thanks

WELCOME here!!

Do a search for Death Wobble here and you will finds lots of posts that should help get it fixed. Like Larry said, you should replace the track bar. That is a very common fix but not always it. Sometimes you get lucky and just need to rotate your tires
