Dodge Transmission Shift Problem

Bill Quade, Am new to DTR and looking forward to using your resources. I have a 2006 3500 4X4 duely diesel crew cab. The problem I am trying to fix is shifting from park to R or D is hard. I think the transmission is a 48RE. The problem is all the time whether parked on a incline or on a flat.

Is it a problem all the time or just when on a slight hill? If on a hill, try setting the park brake before letting off the brake pedal. If it roll even the slightest bit after going into park, it can cause that issue.

If all the time, I better let someone else jump in with ideas.
