I all....new to the forum and looking at possibly getting a 2006 or 07, 2500 or 3500 5.9L CTD, crew cab, 4x4, automatic. I need to stay around $25K and looking to find a truck with around 120K miles.

We will be using it to tow a 5th wheel toy hauler. Max GVWR around 15K lbs.

I have never owned a Dodge RAM CTD, and would appreciate any advise on what to look for i.e. mechanical issues or TSB's, recalls. etc.

Be sure and get it checked out before purchase unless the original owner has service records.
Even then it doesn't hurt.
