4x4 b150 new to forum

hi all. new to the site .interested in swapping a diesel for my 318.i have a homemade 85 dodge b150 w/318 ,727,np205 t case .connected to 3.73 gm 10bolts with lockers. i am starting to like the fuel mileage the 12v cummins gets.now i want one! i am re posting on diesel conversions

Welcome and good luck.
Start out by accepting that the 5.9 12v Cummins is a looong motor. It would be awesome to see one in a van. If the measurements start getting too ugly, remember there is a 4 cylinder version of the 12v that has gotten well over 20 MPG in some of the older Chevy trucks of similar weight.
