Angry wont start

well here i go again. got my truck stuck at the end of the driveway. got down to 10 deg. and didn't plug it in. started it up the next morning ran for a few minutes then died. got it out and to the garage plugged it in and waited until it warmed up. still won't start. changed fuel filter nothing, opened drain with fass pump running and had much fuel. cracked pressure valve cranked it and nothing, removed valve all the way and still no fuel spray. saw a post about a gun i'm about ready for TNT.

Pull the supply directly from your fass to where it would pump out in a bucket and see if its getting that far. I suppose your not running the full fass system?
Maybe its a problem in the lines themselves. where do you live? I would guess most places are running winterized fuel. Im sure you checked fuses? Can you hear the fass running?

i opened the water drain valve and have plenty of fuel from the fass into the stock filter. the problem is somewhere past the stock filter. is there a way to check the fca? other than removing and shaking?

The way the CP series injection pumps are designed they can get ice crystals between the front and the rear castings and refuse to pump or in the regulator port and shut them down. Take a hair dryer and warm the injection pump so it is warm to the touch, then prime it and it should start if it was not missing before the problem started with the cold.

It is a really good idea to use both an anti-gel conditioner and a water disbursing diesel fuel system anti-freeze in weather below freezing.

Probably not if the engine block and pump are above freezing. Pull the codes and see what you get.
