Hello everyone,my trucks not going into od.Sometimes if I let out of it at about fifty it will shift up and then as soon as I get back in it she shifts back down.I checked the fluid and it looked good.I have a transmission line leaking also but dont know if that would have anything to do with it.Also it makes a fluttering sound wene it does shift.Thanks for any help.

 

Get the leak stopped before you try anything else. A little air will really screw up the valve body when it tries to shift.<br><br>Then check your Throttle Position Sensor (TPS) to be sure it is adjusted properly and working.<br><br>After those two items, the next place to look is the valve body and the solenoid in the transmission. It is not for faint of heart, and can end up costing way more than it is worth. So at that point, I would suggest you go to DTT's website and read their recommendations. http://www.dieseltrans.com/

 

Thanks RCW,I have ordered the line but it's going to take a few days to get here.If that doesnt help ill try those other things.It's acting normal today so who knows.I did give it a diesel shower today and every one else behind me wene a rubber cap came off of a tee on what I asume is the fuel pump(top of tank).It took about 20 cents to fix but it made a mess,diesel fuel all over the place
