wind noise or is it?

My 03 dodge has a terrible whistle, really bad in crosswind. It does not do it when the outside temp is below 60'f. I have been told its the door seals but it does it when the doors are open or the windows rolled down, I was told by my dealer it would cost $200.00 to fix. I am wondering if it could be somthing else? Im going on a trip next week and dont want to listen to this racket!!!

Get a stethoscope and attach a long flexible tube, about 4'. As you drive and hear the noise, another person with good hearing and wearing the stethoscope will move the tube open end all around the cab perimeter to locate the exact origin of the noise. Then you can fix it.

I had a similar issue with a 98 1/2 ton I owned. It turned out to be the door seal on the passenger side. The dealer inserted a piece of hose (fuel line maybe?) into the hollow part of the seal for better contact. Problem solved. You might also check the rear window seal, they're notorious.
