Wich way does engine rotate. ASAP PLEASE

I'm changing the crank seal. I all ready have the old one out, noticed the new one is marked for rotation. Standing in front of the truck, wich way does the crank rotate. I think it would be clockwise, but want to make sure. That way the writing would be facing out on the new seal. Is this correct. Thank's.

u betcha.
however the seal will only go into the front cover 1 way. the stamped steel piece must face out, so the lip seal is in. otherwise oil will be everywhere but where you want to keep it.
did it come with the cool plastic collar and the stamped steel installer ring for depth? nice that cummins does that isnt it.
gotta love good thinking on a manufacturer's part.

I used the Cummin's speedy sleeve. I came with the plastic collar, but not the install tool. I had to buy the whole other kit form Dodge to get that. The funny thing is I had the same one from the dealer that I had the last time I did this and took it back. I can still see my hammer mark's on the installer tool. Maybe that's why my oil leak didn't get fixed the first time. Now I have to let my concouince be my guide. All I know is I don't want to tear this thing apart again.
