what speedometer would fit??

First of all, dont ever jab at the trip odometer reset button. It will make your odometer quit working all together. second of all, would a speedometer from another model of ram work in my truck? There is one on ebay off of a gasser. I cant imagine the speedometer would be any different between the trucks. As long as i can separate the actual speedometer from the cluster, I think it ought to work just fine. One of the issues could be that when the needle gets put back on, it wont be calibrated. Ive taken the old speedo apart and put it back together, and now it reads about 7 MPH faster then im actually going. I'm thinking that might be a dealer thing to fix.

It looks like nobody knows on this one. I guess i'll just have to spend the $40 and find out for myself.

I guess i could do that. I didnt think of that since i hate everything about dealers. But if i could pump them for free information, thats a good way to get one over on them.
