I need to know exactly. Is it a Dana 70, 70 a, or what. All the dealer could tell me was AAM 11.5". When I'm calling shop's for quote's, or online part's place's, they're wanting to know Dana 60/70/80 type info.

Anyone know where I could look it up with my vin. Thank's.

 

What the dealer told you is exactly what it is an AAM 11.5 . What are looking to do to it? Im not shure what aftermarket stuff is out there but theres not as much stuff for them like there was for the danas(03-1st gens).

 

I'm trying to get a rebuild kit. All I see on Summit is saying Dana 70 type of thing.

 

Call Summit, tell them what you have, they'll know...

 

Dana axles went bye bye after 2002.

2003 on up use AAM, American Axle Manufacturers(?).
