Need more info still, won't fire does that mean it turns over but will not start or no turn over. I would if you have an air compressor blow some low pressure air around the electrical connections. Let it dry some. Don't kill the batteries trying to start it until it's dry.

Did you change your fuel filter by chance, anythine else done to the engine compartment or just a cleaning. pressure washer or garden hose.
Good luck.

Good questions! You sound like a troubleshooter. Logical aproach, and get the facts Ma'm. You are definitely right in asking the questions. Everyones definition of "won't fire" may be a little different.

Washed Engine - Won't Start

Thanks for the hints. As it turned out I blew off all electrical connections, pulled some apart, all looked dry , still did'nt start. Said **** on it, went for supper and tried it an hour latter, and it eventually started after a half a minute of cranking. I did notice my fuel pressure guage bouncing from 0 to hitting on the stop pin on the high side 15 psi. I did have trouble starting the truck earlier in the day, same fuel pressure bounce. It has stock lift pump (2 months old) running 11 psi at idle and 8 psi on the road. Seems to run fine, good power. This truck has 125,000 km. and has bean a money pit since I bought it 3 years ago. I think it will go down the road soon, can't trust it to always get me home. I don't abuse the truck at all, quite the opposite. Thanks again for the help: Swead
