uncommanded shutdown at idle, will start back up

My 2001 automatic shut down twice on its own. The first was in park, the second was switching from reverse to drive. It started right back up with no hesitation. I plan on checking fuel pressure when I get home. Also, when I remove my foot from the pedal to slow down for a light, the engine will chug a little. Its on its second lift pump. 200000 on the odo. On a side note, My mileage, temp, mpg, display shuts down after a little bit till I flick it with my finger. What do you think?
