turbo probs again!
The turbo thats on it now is a hx35 off of a 96 with 89k on it. Getting in the juice hard it builds about 42psi (which couldnt be good) need to hook waste gate back up i guess. Could high boost be the problem on a stock turbo? All the oil lines look good that i can see unless the braided line collapsed?
Was trying to get more boost. Just changed fuel filter and realized i wasn't getting full fuel for a long time due to clogged filter. Before filter change was building 35-38. Definately wastegating new charger.
I rebuilt mine and forgot to mark alignment of the wheel and shaft, put it back together and it was fine until I put a new wheel on it (HTT stage 3) and it's still working great to this day. Your return tube isn't pinched by chance, is it?
The rubber hose on the end connecting the return line looks like it mat be kinked off a bit. Going to replace the hose also when i change chargers. Also think i'm going to attempt rebuilding another one myself. Don't think i would have a problem with it since the bearings that are in it are still good (hardly any shaft play).
Thanks to all that helped!
