Could high boost be the problem on a stock turbo? All the oil lines look good that i can see unless the braided line collapsed?
I'm no expert by any means, but I'm sure you can over rev a turbo. That is probably the issue. Why no wastegate? I didn't think a stock turbo is efficient that high, pretty much just moving around alot of hot air.

Was trying to get more boost. Just changed fuel filter and realized i wasn't getting full fuel for a long time due to clogged filter. Before filter change was building 35-38. Definately wastegating new charger.

I rebuilt mine and forgot to mark alignment of the wheel and shaft, put it back together and it was fine until I put a new wheel on it (HTT stage 3) and it's still working great to this day. Your return tube isn't pinched by chance, is it?

The rubber hose on the end connecting the return line looks like it mat be kinked off a bit. Going to replace the hose also when i change chargers. Also think i'm going to attempt rebuilding another one myself. Don't think i would have a problem with it since the bearings that are in it are still good (hardly any shaft play).

you would be correct checked the return tube hose today. The inside layer of the hose was collapsed. Put a new hose on it and it dont smoke hardly any now. What its smokin now i guess its burning what was left in there from before.

Thanks to all that helped!
