hey guys. my buddy has a 2001 24v. its in the shop now with a bad turbo. i do not have amy details as to what is wrong with it all i know is he called and asked me to check with you guys ( the experts ) about what to do next. i would assume that the dealer is out of the question asfar as getting a new turbo so im leaving it up tp you guys to show us the way. rebuild or replace ? and where is a good place to deal with with fast turn around or maybe even a core program. he wants to stay stock.we are located in lancaster pa if that helps at all. thanks guys, scott

 

High tech turbo is the best place I have found. You can get the rebuild parts there and it's not a hard job but it is very detailed. You can download the manual from Holeset.com. Read that first and see what your abilities are. You will have to play close attention to your YOUR turbo comes apart and put it back together the same way as the manual covers several variations.
