turbo in d/fw area

my brother has an '06 that he managed to already tear up the turbo on. he works in weatherford and was wondering if there were any shops around the d/fw area that could rebuild his or possibly sell him another one.

theyre trying to void it because the hours on the computer dont match the miles. it has 9800 miles with 129 hours driving and 49 hours idle time, which all seems feasible and not out of line. we're thinking maybe somewhere they have 98000 miles written down instead of 9800.

i also think he would like to have a performance turbo instead of the factory.

Thought so - that explains the high "idle" time... truck spends lots of time at low rpms with an auto and heavy metroplex traffic.

If the truck is still stock..........raise the dickins with the dealer!
How do they know that their readings are not wrong or that something else is not wrong with the truck that made it look funky? If your bro is in the right, stop at nothing to make them fix the truck. If the truck is not stock......he is his own warrenty!
