Unhappy Turbo 'boot' comes off!

Rubber boot, connecting turbo to inter-cooler, blows off @ around 2200rpm when under load (hauling 26' RV) making turbo useless. I've replaced w/OEM parts (new boot & clamps), still have problem. Could this be caused by some sort of back-pressure - waste-gate sticking? truck is automatic w/100,000mi.
Any thoughts?
Thanks.

Clean with mopar brake clean (evaps fast, no residue) and spray the boot with Aqua Net hair spray. For some reason this stupid little trick seems to work.

i used ether and hairspray and it works for a little while but i had to end up replacing with the upgrade neoprene boots and t-clamps when reached 25 or more psi they are stronger and clamps are better and will withstand up to 75psi. also they are cheaper than the dodge dealer. 215 for all clamps and hoses.

Boot repeatedly coming off a stock truck is very unusual. As mentioned above...clean both surfaces totally and reinstall with hair spray!
May also want to check at big rig parts shop for a better type (wider) clamp!
I know one 6 sp at over 500 hp that still runs stock boots and 65 psi boost. I don't recommended this but can be made to work with some creative cleaning & clamping!

'Shaker Style' You should not have this problem at 20-22 psi boost.

I kept blowing stock boots out from under the clamps at 30 psi, i could not keep stock boots on , i tried cleaning , new clamps , etc , i finally put a PDR boot kit on , no problems at all since then.

PDR = http://www.piersdiesel.com/Products.htm
Same set I bgt 4 yrs ago.... very stout. They claim you don't even need clamps below 30 psi.
Not a lot of fun to put on but they do stay in place.

I'm still running stock 240,000 mile boots and clamps on my truck by using the hairspray method and cleaning the inside of the boots and the piping with alcohol before coating with hairspray. I've never lost a boot.

What kind of boost are you running on yours?

45 to 50 pounds most of the time. It's never been set lower than 42 psi.

Thumbs up Waste gate stuck

Turns-out my waste-gate was stuck, creating over-boost. Also have cleaned boot & used hairspray to make sure it stays.
Thought I would update, thank you guys for the helpful tips!
