truck won't start

Question truck won't start

driving down the interstate last night, 70 mph the engine just quit-no throttle response. all electrical still on, gauges good, no codes. pulled over - turns over good but will not crank. fuel pump in tank seems to be working, fuel filter still full. anybody got any ideals. im from texas but this happened in champaign,il. had it towed to dealer and im stuck in a motel.

Could be something as simple as a fuse or relay. Check the power distribution box under the hood. Switch the fuel relay with another relay. Switch ignition relay with another relay. Anything listed fuel or ingnition related I would switch around with one that does a simple function. I would do one relay at a time just to eliminate which one it is.

If that don't work it could be the lift pump, I have heard that on the new trucks if the lift pump quits the injection pump will not work.

Then you start to get into more complicated things like injection pump, ECM etc. etc. but I don't think it's something major. The reason is it did not set off a check engine light or code. Did you do the odometer code check for codes? Turn ignition on/off three times and on the fourth time just leave the ignition on? Code should appear in the odometer window.

After reading your signature a little more closly did you try disconnecting your performance box and setting everything back to stock?
