I have a 2001 Dodge 2500 4x4 diesel. The truck shut off on me on the highway i was doing 70mph!!! as im rolling i put the truck into nuetral start it back up and after a big puff off smoke belows out the exhuast the trucks restarts with no problem. This is really bothering me just wondering if anyone can relate or possibly explain to me what this can be.

 

I have a buddy that had his truck quiting at random and i think a crank or cam sensor was bad in it... not sayin its your prob but maybe somethin to look in to
