The truck wont crank when i turn the key on and wait like 10 seconds. THERE is no wait to start light in till 30 sec. after ignition is turned to the run position. then it starts. if i turn it off after it starts and then turn it to the run position all operations are normal, BUT after 5 mins of idling the motor starts to shudder and will die if u dont give it some throttle, but still isnt running smooth by any mean. with the motor running and sputtering the odometer and the cab lights pulse (DIM-Bright) and when i let off the throttle it died, and has no power to anything. My question is could this be a dead comp?, or bad connection to the comp, maybe a main circuit breaker, if it has one. PLZ HELP ANYONE

Battery connections good, GROUNDS good?
When you say comp, do you mean the ECM?

 

battery terminals are good, tight no corrosion. Yes i was asking about the ECM. should i check the Ground straps, or what im clueless on these dodges.

 

What year truck?

 

sry i havent given any info on the truck, it is a 99 24v and with an edge ez.

 

Best thing to do would be to get the truck to somewhere with a scanner.

Autozone will do it for free.

P0215 Fuel Inj Pump Ctrl Circ

 

Need to check the fuel pressure.

Anytime a code is set that has something to do with the injection pump it could be really bad news.

 

i dont understand why nothing has power, i was thinking along the lines of ECM just for the loss of 12 volt power, but im open to anything, if its an injection pump, great that means it can be upgraded
