You have a bunch of unrelated codes and I'm wondering if you have that A/C wire chaffing that has been discussed in several recent threads. Do a search for "read this" or "chaffing" or "A/C wire"

RCW....I'm impressed with your knowledge. Now let's put that cognitive ability to work and figure out how to get rid of that pesky 3rd injection event!

Honda17, sorry to hear about your troubles. If you don't get them solved you''l need to find out who the regional rep is for DC. You'll need to let him or her know of all your problems, ( keep records ). Let him or her know what dealers you been dealing with. Be nice but stern. I had a problem with my daughters car, It took some time to get it resolved and I had to go through the regional rep. I live in CA and I had to go through the rep before the lemon law could be applied. After the rep was involved the car was repaired correctly. It's to bad we have to suffer so much to get something fixed.

Good Luck
Gary

Does your truck have SKIM (grey ignition key)?

the ign. key is dark grey, the same color as the interior.
the puck is always removed before it goes to the shop.
the funny thing is, on the way to the dealership this morning, the
check guages light came on and the truck showed no oil pressure.
it was the oil press. sensor. that was repalced, the fuel actuator vavle or something like that, failed the diag. test miserably. it will only build to 20k psi not 26k. the cooling fan speed code was cleared but the problem was not corrected because when he reprogrammed the vin, he had to clear all codes.
therefore the cooling fan code was not present anymore and could not be traced.
I was in contact w/ DC most of the morn. and they say it is up to the dist. manager now.
we'll see

Find another dealer who will look at it, and then fix it properly , there must be another one close by. Make sure you remove ALL signs of power puck being installed, including velcro, tie straps, etc., and leave battery disconnected for a few hours, then drive to dealer.

I have a bud who checks and does the programming for a ford & dodge dealership near the dallas area. He checked the truck right after I got the puck. We removed it to see if any codes were left and none were. I don't have to disc. batt. There is no trace when I take it in for service.
I finally got it back today, no probs yet. The serv adv. told me to call dc mon. morn and ask how many ASE cert. techs were @ that dealership & how many had diesel certs. He said the answer is O!!!! He siad call mon.morn. I have to wait untill mon. to call, cuz he is quittin and said after he leaves, he don't care who gets the finger pointed at. Nice to know somebody is tryin to help me. He also suggested a dealership that could fix it right. All my paperwork has gone way up into dc's managment, and I'm waiting on dist. man. to make a decision on buy back or trade out. I have to just play the ole waiting game now.

sorry to hear you're having all these problems! my sister and BIL really like their '04.5 as dose one of our employees.

one thing to be thankful for though...i was trolling one of the ferd forums and there was a guy that had a whole list of problems, i was really surprised at how many people said they had the same or similar problem and how many guys knew exactly how to do the buyback process like it was as common as changing oil.

hope you get your lemon replaced without too much grief! good luck.

If you are having this much of a problem, and the dealership is only putting bandaids on it, threaten Lemon law on them.

Or find a friend with some property and a D6 Cat with a big hole that needs filled. Then call it in stolen.
