Question Transmission guage jumping around

I was driving from Vegas to Cali, and the needle of the trans guage was bouncing all over. I stopped and looked at the sender, and it all looked OK. Truck has been sitting most of the 10 months I was deployed, with driving from WA to Cali at Christmas. It didn't jump in town-only at speeds over 50 mph.
any ideas?

Thanks,
Mike

Doubt if the tranny is the problem, most likely a bad connection on the gauge wiring.

The sender box (that 3' square box in the harness) on mine caused the gauge to jump around a lot.
Call Isspro, I got a free replacement, and all's well.

Good to go. I'll try that.

Thanks,
