Angry Trans went out!!!

I need ideas and I need them quick. I was fueling up the other day and when I went to leave it took a long time to go into gear and went in jerky. I made it home but the next day it made it about a block and I lost everything. No clunking, banging, or any noise at all. Just a slight smell of tranny fluid when I'm reving it up trying to get it in gear. It has plenty of fluid in it but it's pretty darn sparkly. I'm pulling the pan right now. Any one have Ideas? Torque convertor, soem solenoid, or do I have to start over fresh. Any help would definately be appreciated!!!

Bump.

What did you find in the pan when you got it off?

I am sorry to tell you my friend but it sounds like your tranny is shot, kaput. Might as well start shopping for a rebuild or new one.

Governor pressure sensor & Governor pressure solenoid is my guess.

sounds just like mine when it happened to me.
Scan it for codes and if your scanner can look at GPS target pressure and actual pressure you can tell for sure if it works.

the pressure should rise higher the faster you go until the TC locks up then it should hold the pressure at something like 125-150psi. (cant remember for sure)

BTW mine never threw any codes for me.
