Trans trouble

For a year now my 99' 2500 QC 4x4, auto 4 speed, has had a transmission slip, when turning left, 3 times in the morning, when I take the kids to school, one mile distance. On the return trip it would be fine when it was warmed up. No other trans problems at all in 118,000 miles.
3 or 4 days ago the wife says it is not shifting, so only half believing her I took it for a test drive and sure enough, It is only starting out in 2nd gear.
I did alot of searching on DTR and decided to change the trans filter and adjust the bands myself figuring this would solve the problem. (besides it was due for trans service at 120,000 anyway) which I have had done by my trans guy every 40,000 miles.
In my searching I found out I have one of the 99's with a 47rh in it. The rear adjustment band has a 1/4 hex screw, and not a torx. I had found a thread that had information that in 99' dodge did put some 47rh's in trucks. But that was before I started taking notes and I havn't been able to find that information again. My engine serial # is 56551614 built in Feb 99'.
Where I'm at now is the trans shifts fine manualy. At the first stop it will only take off in 2nd then shift to 3rd. Then no 4th. If I put the truck in neutral at the second stop, it will shift great manualy though 1st,2nd,3rd. No 4th.
More seaching ect.... I decide to clean the TPS. After even more seaching wires I finaly find the TPS just above the injection pump. Not under the battery tray where I looked first, only to figure out that cable is for the cruise contol, under the battery tray. Sooo Now i'm excited to finaly be getting somewhere, I take the TPS into the shop, gently die grind away plastic so I can open it and clean it, what do I find? My TPS has a circut board in it and looks nothing like the ones that can be cleaned, This is when I started writing this thread because frustration is setting in. I also plan to replace the Govenor pressure sensor (if that is what it is called) But I wanted to try the TPS first so much for that plan. Does any one Know anything about this settup I would greatly appreciate some advise. Thanx
