Trans "Hunts" Between 3rd and OD

Well it use to happen once in a wile, but now it does it almost every time. When accelerating aggressively or at wot the trans shifts great, but in normal driving conditions the trans will not shift to OD, it just hunts back and forth between OD and third. Also it tries to shift to OD at about 40-45 mph. Checked tonight for codes, just 602 but that’s from the catcher.

Had this happen a couple times this summer. Got to where
I could almost predict a few miles of interstate would trigger
it. Then would be ok going slower on a country road. Could
also see TC going in and out a minute or so before OD started
whacking. This was on a couple of the peak hot days over
summer.

I added some ATF+4 to overfill by about a pint or so.
Seemed to take care of it, at least for now, although it also
has not been as hot out. Also did APPS reset, but particular
trouble persisted after that.
