Trailer lighting issues

Unfortunately I have issues with the right brake / signal lights on my towing circuit. I went through all of the threads regarding the subject and came to the conclusion I need to replace the IPM. My local dealer quoted me a cost of $262.00. Based off of what I have been reading, I'm concerned he has the wrong part pulled up. The pricing I have seen on various threads is anywhere from $350-$1000.00. I'm looking for a part number for the IPM to verify he has the correct part. I like the price but do not want the wrong "not returnable" electrical part. Also, what is the diff. between the FCM and IPM??

Thanks!

There are fuses under the hood for trailer turn signals. Have you verified those are good first?

Yes, all fuses and wiring to the plug have been checked.

Thanks

This is the part you need. PDC power distribution center(part# 56049019AF)
My dealer thought it was the IPM too.

Read these threads on both of my 03's.

My First 03
https://www.dieseltruckresource.com/...r-t109598.html

My Current 03
https://www.dieseltruckresource.com/...g-t170508.html

It was around $300 dollars shipped from oemdodgeparts.com, not sure if the are still in business. It shows a number or email address when you go to the site.

Well, I changed out the "PDC" on my truck last night, all went well and my trailer lighting is back to normal but now my airbag light is on all the time. Any thoughts? Thanks for all the info.
