If the bushing is shot chances are the other end is bad also, that is the normal bad spot. You can get a new trac bar at napa or other parts stores or get a real quality unit from DT.

I am not certain on this and hope someone else will chime in, but I was under the impression that a Lukes Link is the recommended solution for this http://www.lukeslink.com/

lukes link works for the ball joint end, but I believe carolyn is talking about the bushing on the other end

I would think a dealer or some parts jobber such as nappa should have one.

how'd you wear that end out and still have a good ball ??

I thought I read somewhere here that someone got a bushing from Luke's Link. Might be worth a call.

Trac Bar

Thank you!! After reading all the posts, that I found on this, I think I will order it from Lukes... hope this works... The steering in a dodge has got to be the worst... Love my truck... but gotta get this resolved.
The end of the trac bar affected is the passenger end of the bar.

Thumbs up

Get a Polyurathane bushing for the axle end of the bar from Luke's too. This works better than the OEM rubber bushing.

The Poly Bushing from Energy Suspension is p/n 5.7111R

SummitRacing.com has them in stock. About 9 bucks.

Cool still the same..

so Napa wants $118.00 for their track bar arm (you know those assembly things) and I dont really know why the axle end is wearing .. strange thing. But track ball looks to be ok. maybe because of the terrain I live on??? I live in a hanging valley, so when I leave I go up a steep road with a tight 90 turn right.... probably not related..
thanks for all the input.. I really appreciate it and hopefully I will fine it. I have emailed all 3 to see if they have it!!
