Trying to set it so that my converter will act properly.

I had 5.1 volts across the two outboard wires, but only 0.71 between the black and orange with the key on and the harness plugged into the sensor. I pushed out the metal sleeves that come in the holes, and was able to get it to 0.9 volts. Nowhere near the 1.4 to 1.5 volts that I'm shooting for.
I'm going to file the holes out a bit to see if I can increase the number a bit.

If anyone has had a similar situation, I'd really like a call from you.

Got it to 1.0 volts by reaming out the holes. Problem is still there.
