Yesterday I was on my way back from a little trail riding and I tried giving my truck a little bit of the skinny and it had no high end power so I stopped and plugged in the Smarty tuned the truck back to stock. I got back on the road and it felt exactly the same so I pulled back over started checking under the hood and truck and everything looked fine so I loaded switch 7 back on it and it ran fine until today. Today I was starting from a stop light and when I got to about 20 my truck shifted into overdrive and locked up and the TC now goes straight to lock-up when in drive. When I put the truck in drive it idles for about 1-2 seconds and locks-up. The transmission has been in my truck for about 2 weeks now and I have tried to call Dave but I think he is enjoying the holidays not that I can blame him cause I would be too if this wasnt happening.

 

Does anyone have any ideas as to what could cause this?

 

Nevermind I was on the phone with Dave tonight under the truck and we found the problem.

 

Well, what was it?

 

The converter clutch and overdrive solenoid were blocked and arent working properly so Dave is going to overnight them to me tomorrow.

 

This doesn't sound right, hope it helps, If you have problem getting ahold of Dave, call me at 559-355-4433 and I can get him on the BAT phone.

 

I got lazy and didnt want to spell out solenoid twice but it was the 2 solenoids that control the lock-up.

 

And everything is up and running as good as the day it was installed.
