Tail light problems

My left brake light is out. No, its not the bulb, and yes I already put new ones in it. The nomal "night lights" work fine. But there is just no signal for brakesk or left turn signal (front works fine). Also my reverse light are out (both). I have replaced the neutral saftey switch to see if that would solve the reverse problem. Here is the kicker, sometimes everything works. Very rarely but they do work. I a$$ume I have a bad connection somewhere. I have checked the connections on the left side to see if anythign was bad. All connections are good. The truck was hit on the left side before I purchased it, but they rewired everything correctly where damage was done. I figured I would poste here before I start pulling wires.

Thanks

try running an auxillary ground to the bulb socket and see what happens.

Nitrousn, well tried that and it didnt work. But it got my mind going and I went crazy and checked everything. I ended up having a bad connection point where the bulb snaps in. Well that solves my tail light problem but still no revers lights.
