steering and brakes

ok i replaced the power steering pump on friday and now i have no steering or brakes the pump does not make any noise but i have no st eering or brakes please help

On a 2nd Gen those symptoms would probably be the hydroboost unit. When my truck did it was the hydroboost unit that is fastened to the master cylinder. No biggie to change out.

It might just be air locked and a little low on fluid.
Jack up both fronts and with the engine running turn the steering wheel from stop to stop several times while watching the fluid level.

Rev the engine up there is a check valve in the line for the hydraboost so it works if you blow a line.

did that yesterday if i rev it up it is easyer but not like it is supose to be
