My truck does this on a rare occasion. it did it before the juice w/ attitude. I did a search but didn't find anything. If you shut it off, turn the key to the off position give it a few sec it will fire up right with no problems. It doesn't have any lights on on the dash. Any body got any I ideas? My specs are in my sig.

 

how bad does it rev... just a little higher than normal.. or does it take it to like 2000 rpm.. 3000.. ? does it hold there for seconds. or is the initial start high then slows down to nowrmal after a second or so...

my guess would be too much fuel at start. or a tps problem.. i know at the age of our truck the tps`s seem to go out,i did mine 6 months ago!

nexplian a little more in detail. try to think of everything . maybe it will be someting simple..

 

It revs like you are mashing the gas pedal to the floor. I don't let it go long enough to see if it will come down.

 

have you tried an APPS reset. if not do a search for it. it might be one of the causes. i have seen tps`s do crazy things like going wide open for no reason!

I have not had a chance to work on it but here is some more info. When this happens it resets my Juice, I have to go back through the set up on it. Also if I try and start it w/o the 4-5 sec delay after it happens the "wait to start" light comes on but the fuel pump does not run, not even if I bump the starter to make it run like when you bleed the system. Anybody else have a problem like this?

 

.... and you're positive this phenomenon occured before the Edge Juice was installed?
