Starter solienoid

The solieniod went out on my truck. Are these replaceable? Or am I better of getting a reman. or a new starter? Also what have you guys found as the best place to get them at? Dealer,Carquest, Napa, Bumper to Bumper or Autozone is what I have in my area. Thanks guys, Bret

Well you beat me to it, games. If you're needing it fixed today try Auto Zone. Life time warantee on the starter. I've won twice already. haha

I also have foster truck contacts incase I need them out in the boonies.

Most of the time it is just the contacts. Some starters stick running and burn them selves up. Some go up in flames. Mine did. I don't hear well and never heard it until it was dead.
