Unhappy Somethings wrong

For the last few months, my 99 has started to not crank when turning the key.

I wait for the "Wait to start" light to go out, turn the key and then nothing.
Not even 1 crank. No noise, nothing.
Turn off the key. Try it again and it starts.

Yesterday was the first time I did it like 5 times before it would go.

I just replaced the starter last Fall.

Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks in advance.

does it click or does the volt meter dive when you turn it over? is it a manual, if so check the clutch safety switch, auto, wiggle it in park to verify the park safety switch is not out of whack
