I have a shudder when turning from a stop. It seems like its is tranny related. Could it be my TC? Thanks for input.

I see this on poorly or incorrectly maintained rear differentials with the sure grip. Clutches will "grab" on tight cornering.

 

I was thinking same thing, if rear diff. needs service or has been serviced without limited slip additive, it will chatter on slight turns. Use two bottles of the additive.

 

Agree. If you are having a shutter when turning it's not the tranny. Its the read differential. Been there done that. Change out the fluid and add the limited slip additive. Go to a parking lot and do figure 8's for 30 mins. Should be okay in 500 miles or so, unless you have damaged the clutches. (unlikely)

 

Great call boys. That was my guess but three other simpletons in my truck said its the cheap dodge tranny. Well changed out diff lube and fixed. Thanks again. The other three drive dmaxs which can't keep up with my old dodge but they needed something to make them feel better.
