Just put new shoes on rear did'nt turn drums all hardware seemed fine.When I drove the truck and hit the brakes it made a humming noise loud also felt like they were hanging up even if dis-adjusted.With rear lifted it seemed fine 1994 3500 RAM 4X2.

 

Years ago they use to ark shoes, that is grind them to fit the drums.
I would drive them to see if they wear in if not turn the drums.I have had to turn the drums twice on a ford once becuse the first time it was not done right.
