Hi,

I just did a complete rebuild on my Dana 60, it is a pretty big job, you should have a puller for the front hubs, and a press to R&R the axle u-joints, all told I spent about $1,500.00. The u-joints are about 35.00 each, my 98.5 with 4 wheel ABS has the super expensive front hubs, 483 for one side 683 for the other from the dealer!! NAPA can get them for abour 380 each. Make sure you replace both seals, you will need to remove the ring gear to replace the driverside seal. The passenger side seal can be installed through the central axle disconnect opening, not an easy task but there is enough room the get the seal in.

Good luck,
It took me a day and a half, but I also did rotors and the ball joints.
