Quad Cab now only a Tri Cab
Where do you live? Lots of salt on the roads during the winter?
Remove the screw from the handle on the inside of the door panel, pull the goofy cup thing out of pocket lol.
The door panel is held in with snap clips so you need to start at a corner and work your way around. I had little luck getting them to release even with the proper tool and most of the clips were left in the door so I pulled them out after the fact and put them back on the door panel. A small dab of silicone on each when you put it back on will help them stay put if they got really mangled in the removal process.
Now, if your door does not want to open but it feels like the linkages are all hooked up its more than likely the lower lock mechanism on the door. You will need to get the door open by giving it a good yank while pulling on the handle ( hopefully)and remove the three nuts from the inside of the door that hold it on.
Once off you can split it and clean all the crud out of it. I ended up removing most of the rubber off the cam pieces and just coating them with anti seize so they would not rust again.
Let us know what you find or if you need more help.
