if you crack the 1,3, and 4 injector lines is there fuel coming out? If so, then all you should have to do is tighten them down when the fuel comes out and it should fire up, it will run rough for a bit and then start. If you've already done this and it still doesnt run than I cant help. Good luck!

when cracked ,does that mean all the way loose or just loosening the flare nut ?

where the line goes into the injector I loosened the nut completely. The lines wont go anywhere so dont worry about them falling out or anything, just keep an eye on it because when fuel starts comeing out, it comes out fast.

yea there is no need to move the line away. I would suggest replacing the filter before you bleed the system or you will have to do it twice. Good luck with it and let me know how it works.

when ever you replace the fuel filter once your ready to start the truck try this next time turn the key to bump the starter and then leave it in the run position this will let the fuel pump cycle don't try to crank the engine over right away. bump it 2 or 3 times this will let the fuel pump pressurize the fuel system up to the VP-44.

nah cause the fuel is up in the line to the injector. sounds like you had a pretty good amount of air in the system

i just tried again and had one injector blowing white stuff,is that just bubbles? and my number 1 injector is not blowing anything yet.. is this normal? i did just put new lines from the filter to the pump, that is in front of my tank .. so i believe it was alot of air ...

try just bumping the starter a couple times it might help build up the pressure to the vp-44. you also have a pm

got it started on the old intank pump, then knowing i had fuel i simply unplugged the intank lp and plugged in the carter on frame lp,both connected to fuel line... once the carter was on its own truck slowly died.. so im guessin that my new lp was junk from the factory... it was a bd oem bypass lift pump kit ... so i will be talking to bd-power about this ... let ya all know how it goes .. thanks everyone for your help, atleast now i know what its like to bleed a system from the lp out to the injectors .. GOOD LESSON !!!!

Hi, had a similar experience when I installed my BD auxilary carter and big line kit. Since the entire supply line to the IP had been worked on including the filter housing, there was alarge volume of air in the system. I tried to pressurize the system by cycling the key but wound up with a no start condition. BD suggested it might be nessessary to jumper the proprietary switch to run the new fuel pump to fill the supply side up again. Read that in the install directions. If you dont have the aux pump set up, you can run power to the hot side of the pump to run it. So I had the pump running and found that I had an air lock in the filter housing. Loosened the top until fuel came out and then loosened the line to the VP44 until fuel came out . Then cracked injector lines 1 and 3 while cranking, and vroom, the old truck was back in fine form. Don't know if that will help, but it worked for me. Good luck.
