Power Loss

Ok here we go I have a 01, 24 valve with an Auto trans with 90 k on the truck. I have developed a power loss. the truck will be running fine then just fall on its face. i have replaced the lift pump the fuel filter blew out all the line checked the tank screen thinking that one of these was the proplem but it didnt change a thing proplem still exsist. i am waiting on a new oil sending unit which is bad and needs replaced because it leaking. through my tests and playing with it i have found that the power loss is an electical problem i have checked and replaced ........ though i dont think it was bad.... all relays i can find conected to the fuel system but when this power loss happens i can shut the key off and restart and it runs fine then all the sudden for no real reason i can find it happens again it may go all day and not do it it may do it a few times right in a row has anyone had this problem

Fall on it's face like the pedal goes dead...mash it to the floor but no improvement until you stop then restart the motor?

Had sort of the same thing on my 02 ram, start it up it would run fine then just no power at all, re-start the truck and it would run great the rest of the day... I Just replaced the MAPP sensor in it early this morning and hasn't done it to me again...

Do the keyswitch On-Off-On-Off-On drill then look at your odometer for a trouble code. The Accelerator Pedal Position Sensor (APPS) gives trouble from time to time. I disconnected then reconnected the wiring connector on mine 3 times to make a better connection with success the last coupla years but I'm sure the APPS will eventually let go.

i played with it a little tonite driving it and really paying attention if it falls on its face after it has shifted to at least 3rd you can mash on it as soon as it down shifts it picks it up if it falls on its face before that it wont pick it up right away or unless you shut it off and restart it it runs great aslong as it is running i put a fuel pressure gauge on it to dbl check lift pump pressure when it happens pressure drops to 0 it has me baffled i feel it is electrical and will check both the mapp and the apps but would the shut down the lift pump?????
