need to know if I need a new map sensor or a wast gate problem. with XZT disconnected I am getting 27 psi reading form scan pro an an idle on acceleration I go over 30 psi and get a momentary stall. I see the Dodge manual says presser should be 17-19 psi. any Ideas?

 

You're scan tool is showing 27Psi of boost at idle? That right there shows something is iffy within the truck. Is your CEL light on, throwing any MAP Sensor codes?

And yes on a stock truck, max boost will be around 17-19PSI.

 

N0 codes no cel light but seems to be getting worse! checked voltage going in to map its at 5v. went ahead and replaced the map sensor still getting readings of 27 psi at an idle any ideas as to what is causing this? I am waiting for a pressure gauge to get an actual mechanical reading.
