Pitman arm swap

Hi, I'm in the middle of swapping out a leaky steering box from a '97 to a box from a '01. Just wondering if i can keep the pitman arms on the existing boxes and not have to swap them out. Not sure if the tapers on them are the same for the linkages, or if they do need their original arms swapped over as well.
Thanks!
Cheers!
Dan

thanks lester! I'm still wondering if i can get away with leaving the arms on, or if I need to swap them over too... wondering if there's any difference in taper on the arm and length?
Cheers
