Ok I had a heck of a time getting the old pitman arm off and can't figure out how to get the new one off. I had to cut the arm at the sector shaft to get loos from there but then it just dropped enough to leave it binded on both ends. So I cut the tapered shasft on the ball joint end to get it completely off.
Now how in the heck am I supposed to get each end in place at the same time?
Am I supposed to remove the tie rod, jack up the truck, or what??

 

Ok I figured it out.
I found this site that explained it for me.
I'm surprised I didn't find a "how to" here somewhere.
