Parking brake light????????

Parking brake light????????
I just bought a 95 2500 4x4 standard. The parking brake light will sometimes stay on although the brake is released. The wait to start light comes on and the water in fuel light as well. The water in fuel light always turns off sometimes a few seconds after the wait to start light. I know the wait to star light is the glow plug light so that isn't a worry but what about that water in fuel thing. Another concern is the fuel gauge. I use only 10 gallons of fuel and it marks the tank as empty. I know I have 20+ gallons left. What could be going on here and what would be the most clean fix? Could I handle it myself or should I go to the dealer?

The fuel gauge problem is common. It will likely be the sending unit in the fuel tank that has failed. The other problems are not likely related, but will take some diagnosing to solve. When the e-brake light comes on for no reason:
1) disconnect the wire from the emergency brake switch (on the e-brake pedal assy.) and see if the light goes out.
2) if not, disconnect the wire from the pressure differential switch (on the combination valve) and see if the light goes out
3) if not, disconnect the wire from the low vacuum switch (under hood, by the driver side hood hinge) and see if the light goes out.
When the WIF light is on, you can disconnect the connector from the WIF sensor. If the light stays on, you know it's a wiring, PCM, or dash problem. If the light goes out, you know it's a real WIF condition or a failed sensor.
Hope this helps.

The WIF lights up for a minute so you know the light works.
Pull the e-brake pedal up all the way, see if the light goes out. (bad adjustment)
Agree with Torquefan on the fuel sending unit.
You do not have "glow plugs". You have a grid heater. The difference is the grid heater heats intake air in the manifold, while the glowplug heats air in the cylinder itself.
