2006 model throwing p2149......Need some input on this. Checked the connections, ohmed out all the injectors(all within limits). I was going to replace the valve cover gasket in hopes that would correct the problem next. I know that the injectors are working electronically, could there be a malfunction there with the injector itself? How would I check that? Anyway, I thought about taking it in to have the ecm reflashed at Dodge under this latest recall to see if that's what the problem is. I have been running a Bully by the way. Any input is appreciated.

 

Were all the injectors exactly same resistance value? They are usually at .2 ohms. I have also seen the wires in the valve cover gasket cause this code to set. Did you use a digital ohm meter?

 

There were variations. It calls for between .5 and 1.5 I thought.

Cylinders 1 and 2 (.5)
3 (.8)
4 (.5)
5 (.5)
6 (1.2)

I also tried moving the harness while the truck was running and changed the gasket. No luck yet.

 

Should be less then 1 ohm, I have always seen .2 ohms on good injector.
