I wondered if someone would query me on that! The humidity was so high in the morning, that I was trying to defog the windshield.

Re:Overheating
Understood, but................
That is why the A/C compressor runs when the defroster is turned on. It takes the humidity out of the air.
No A/C ? Open a window. The humidity in the air flowing through is less than the humidity in the vehicle and the windows will clear faster. Why? Because when the car has been sitting in humid conditions, even with windows closed, the humidity gets into fabric, seats, headliner, door panels, etc. Turn the heater on and all you do is get hot humidity which makes the windows warmer than the outside air and causes more condensation on the windows.
I have family in the Cincin. - Mason area. I hate to go back there in the summer because of the humidity. The humidity here yesterday was 4%. Last night got all the way up to 36%.
Have a great week,
Stan

I apologize, I am guilty of being lazy with my words. I was really meaning the fog you get on the windows anytime that the temperature of the glass drops below the dew point of the air. It wasn't that the humidity was very high, it was that the clear skies the previous night allowed the glass to radiate heat away and become colder than the dew point of the air, so I was really trying to warm up the window so the glass wouldn't condense out the water vapour.
Anyway, when it's 56F at 6.15 am, which it was, I hate to turn on the air, or open a window, and chill my butt any more than it already is. I can always stand a bit more heat, but I lived in Canada way too long to like the cold. And my definition of cold now starts at 65F. ;D

Alright, I know this is old but I was surfing and found it so if anyone is wondering. Here is the link to a radiator on ebay.

Thanks for continuing to think of helping me. Last week, even though I'd had it repaired, I decided to buy a new one. I decided this since I normally only use the truck when I'm towing, and if the radiator has failed once, it's probably likely to do it again soon, and I'd lost a lot of confidence in it. Knowing my luck, probably when I'm out in the middle of nowhere, with the trailer.
Anyway, I posted a message on 1st Gen to say if anyone else wanted the old one, they could come and pick it up for nothing. No takers so far. I'll wait for a couple of weeks and then trash it.
Thanks for your help.
