Oil pressure hit zero

Driving down the interstate, the oil pressure dropped to zero. stopped the truck and cranked back up and it was way above normal. did this a couple of times. is this probably a sender? Can I test it? where is it located. can i put on a mechanical gauge to test it? where is the best place to tap in at? Sorry for all the questions. Just a little frustrated.

Kip

Not a lot of oil pumps go bad in these trucks, like ever.
