have an 01 2500 with only the bare necesitys done to make it drivable 100 hp injectors air box 5 inch exhust 65 hp fuel box suncoast trans anyway tues after some strange surges went dead pedal checked codes 0121 1693 so got new apps from timbo instaled as per instructions worked for about 6 miles same problem did the grounds ohms check all apps wire to ecm and volts at apps if you clear it and reset works for a short time then back to dead pedal this is the codes this morning pcu 0123 1693 pecu 0222 0121 0606 1693 cleard reset with batt. off 1 hour reset apps and drove 3 miles same deal checked codes with key gotsame as before checked with CAN0BD2 hand held only got 0606 121 know that 121 is apps and 0606 is ecm just wanted to check before I go for the ecm thanks Bob

 

Sounds to me like the VP44 (injection pump), search it on this site and see if the problems sound the same to you. Take care

 

I didnt see any codes for that and it runs fine after reset I spent most of the day yesterday looking didnt find anything If I dont get any answers by Monday I think I will have to go with the ECM thanks Bob

 

The ECM is far less likely to be issue than VP44. When the computer in the IP goes down it gives bogus codes like what you are getting.
