truck is "jumping" not sure whats causing it
I have been driving around town going about 50-55 sometimes faster and my truck will suddenly jump, like the throttle is gone then suddenly back on, not sure what is causing it. I have been told it might be my injector pump going out, or that i need my shift points changed, even that its a throttle position sensor. If you have any ideas on what it could be please let me know
Hard to say with out knowing anything at all about the truck. If it ia a mechanical truck check the fuel shutdown selonoid. My truck did the same thing and the wire had a bad connection.
Sounds like a case of dead pedal from a 24 valve truck but that is only a guess until you can tell us more specific what year and model truck you have along with any modifications it has on it.
its a 99 2500 4x4, and all i have on it is a k&n 57 series cold air intake and a 5 inch turbo back exhaust strait piped, my rpm's are spiking from about 1300 to about 2100-2200 and it will go back and forth doing that constantly anywhere from 50 to 75 mph, any help will be aprreciated i thought i had my sig filled out, my bad y'all
