Not Good
Well I go to start my truck and it fires up, idles at about 750rpm but it's shaking and nocking and when you rev it, sounds like it's missing. I called Dodge, and the road side to come get the thing, so I'm hoping they fix it asap cause I need this truck. So after talking to my father on the phone for 30 min on how to start a diesel truck (1999) so it's that much different, he is agreeing to let me use it. So I have to walk to his house to get the dang thing, and then go to work. I'm wondering if this is the signs of a truck that has an injector(s) going bad??? It does smell funny and has white smoke so I'm thinking it is. I had this once before, and I shut it off and fired it up and it ran fine. Bought the truck in January of 05, have 15,000 miles on it, so it's not idling that much. I just hope it dosn't take that long to fix cause it's a truck I def. need. The service dealer it's going to, is really good, they work fast, and they do good work, and towing is covered also. Just really feels odd to go out and get in your truck and it won't start..... what can you trust in the world these days. I hate all these electronics, sure they make great power, but you never know when there going to work or not... So I have no truck now, and who knows for how long...
